QUICSEAL 613 EPOXY GROUT

QUICSEAL 613 EPOXY GROUT is a three-component epoxy resin-based product mixed with silica sand and special additives, designed to create a bonding paste with high adhesion strength. This epoxy grout is known for its versatility and chemical resistance, making it suitable for various wall and floor applications.

Typical Uses:

• Internal and external areas with various types of tiles (ceramic, homogenous, quarry, etc.)
• Areas exposed to chemical contact, such as in dairies, breweries, food and chemical industries, and swimming pools.
• Areas subjected to heavy traffic, such as walkways and pavements.

Substrate Preparation:

The substrates must be clean and sound, free of dust, loose particles, laitance, oil, grease, and other contaminants. For concrete surfaces, any curing compound must be removed using appropriate methods.

• Compressive Strength (ASTM D695): 60 ± 5 MPa
• Chemical Resistance:
  • 18% Hydrochloric Acid: Good
  • Sodium Hydrochloride: Excellent (13% (m/m) of active chloride)
• Ratio by weight (A:B:C): 1.0 : 0.6 : 4.4

Preparing the Mix: Mix QUICSEAL 613 (Part A) and Part B together thoroughly, then add QUICSEAL 613 Part C and mix until a homogeneous paste is achieved.

Grouting Tile Joints: Apply the paste with a hard rubber trowel, fill joints completely, and remove excess paste. Rinse with clean water after excess grout removal. Allow at least 24 hours before foot traffic.

Cleaning: Clean tools and hands immediately after application. After setting, cleaning can only be done by mechanical means.

Coverage: For grouting tile joints, consumption depends on tile dimensions and joint width.

Packaging: QUICSEAL 613 is supplied in a 6kg set.

Storage: Store in a cool and ventilated place in the original packaging for up to 12 months.
