LEAFSEAL F210 | A TWO COMPONENT WATER BASED EPOXY COATING
Product Description:
LeafSeal F210 is a high-performance 2-component, water-based epoxy coating designed to provide an easily cleaned surface with resistance to common oils and liquids. It exhibits excellent adhesion to concrete and cement/sand screeds.
Particularly suitable for areas subject to light vehicle and pedestrian traffic, it is recommended for applications in garages, warehouses, light industry, kitchens, and other similar environments. It is also recommended for waterproofing applications in water features such as aquarium tanks, septic tanks, and civil wastewater tanks.
Features and Benefits:
- Seamless Application:
- Provides a seamless, monolithic application.
- Hygienic and Easy to Clean:
- Offers a hygienic, easily cleaned surface.
- Chemical Resistance:
- Exhibits high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
- Abrasion Resistant:
- Resistant to abrasion caused by light traffic, trolley movement, and other similar activities.
- Hard-Wearing Finish:
- Delivers a hard-wearing floor finish.
- Wide Range of Colors:
- Available in a wide range of attractive colors.
Area of Use:
Light-duty industrial areas where the floor is subjected to pallet tuck, trolley and forklift traffic, car park decks, laboratories, electronic and clean rooms, automotive assembly, aircraft hangars, garages, pharmaceutical facilities, printing pulp paper mills, refineries, and other industrial plants where chemical resistance is required.
Substrate Preparation:
The substrate (concrete or screed) should have a minimum compressive strength of 25MPa and adhesive pull-off strength of at least 1.5MPa. It should be clean, free from laitance, oil, dust, loose constituents, paint residues, chemicals, algae, and other contaminants. Vacuum shot blasting and grinding may be required for preparation.
Priming:
Refer to LeafSeal F200 for priming instructions.
Color:
Available in a variety of colors from the RAL K5 Classic Color Chart, providing a semi-gloss finish.
Mixing:
Stir Part A for 30 seconds, then add all of Part B (Hardener) and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes until achieving a homogeneous mixture. The mixing ratio by weight is Part A: Part B = 4:1.
Installation:
- LeafSeal F210 must be applied in 2 coats.
- It can be applied to the prepared surface using a brush or short/medium pile roller.
- For porous or highly absorbent surfaces, 5-8% of clean water can be added for the 1st coat and 3-4% for the 2nd coat.
Temperature Conditions of Installation:
- Do not apply when the relative humidity exceeds 80% RH or when the surface to be coated is less than 5% above the dew point.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C and temperatures above 40°C.
Cleaning:
Clean all tools and equipment immediately with water after use.
Maintenance and Care After Cure:
Basic cleaning and maintenance using a single or double-headed rotary scrubber drier with alkaline detergent are recommended to prolong the life of epoxy floors.
Packaging:
20kg/set (Part A 16kg, Part B 4kg)
Storage & Shelf Life:
- Store LeafSeal F210 in a covered area protected against sunlight and UV radiation.
- The shelf life is 12 months if kept in the proper storage area following instructions.
