LEAFSEAL F310 | A TWO COMPONENT SOLVENT FREE EPOXY COATING
Product Description:
LeafSeal F310 is a high-performance two-component, solvent-free colored epoxy coating, specifically developed for areas with light or high traffic. It provides excellent chemical resistance and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for industrial floors exposed to pallet tuck, trolley, and forklift traffic.
This coating ensures a dust-free, joint-less, and glossy finishing with a wide range of attractive colors. Ideal for various industrial sectors, including laboratories, clean rooms, automotive assembly, garages, and more.
Features and Benefits:
- Seamless, Monolithic Application:
- Provides a seamless, monolithic application for industrial floors.
- Solvent-Less, Low Odor – and V.O.C:
- Formulated as a solvent-free coating with low odor and VOC content.
- Hygienic and Easy to Clean:
- Offers a hygienic and easily cleaned surface.
- Chemical Resistance:
- Exhibits high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
- Abrasion Resistant:
- Withstands abrasion from medium traffic and trolley movement.
- Hard-Wearing Finish:
- Delivers a hard-wearing floor finish.
- Wide Range of Colors:
- Available in a variety of attractive colors.
Area of Use:
Light-duty industrial areas where floors are exposed to pallet tuck, trolley, and forklift traffic. Suitable for car park decks, laboratories, electronic and clean rooms, automotive assembly, aircraft hangars, garages, pharmaceutical facilities, printing pulp paper mills, refineries, and other industrial plants where chemical and abrasion resistance are required.
Substrate Preparation:
The substrate (concrete or screed) should have a minimum compressive strength of 25MPa and adhesive (pull-off) strength of at least 1.5MPa. It must be clean, free from laitance, oil, dust, loose constituents, paint residues, chemicals, algae, and other contaminants. The substrate should be dry and free from ground water pressure. Vacuum shot blasting and grinding are recommended for preparation.
Priming:
Refer to LeafSeal F300 technical datasheet or LeafSeal F200 for priming instructions.
Mixing:
Stir Part A for 30 seconds using a suitable electrical low-speed drill mixer (500 rpm) with a non-aerating steel paddle. Add all of Part B (Hardener) and mix both liquid parts thoroughly for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. The mixing ratio by weight is Part A: Part B = 4:1.
Installation:
- Apply LeafSeal F Primers to seal the substrate porosity.
- Within 6-14 hours after LeafSeal F Primers have cured, apply LeafSeal F310.
- Apply LeafSeal F310 onto primed areas in 2 coats.
- Apply LeafSeal F310 within the pot life (working time) using a brush or roller.
Cleaning:
Clean all tools and equipment immediately with acetone, xylene, or solvent.
Temperature Conditions of Installation:
- Do not apply when the relative humidity exceeds 75% RH.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C and temperatures above 40°C.
Maintenance and Care After Cure:
Basic cleaning and maintenance using a single or double-headed rotary scrubber drier with alkaline detergent are recommended to prolong the life of epoxy floors.
Precautions:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation. Harmful effects may occur during application, and care must be taken. If mixed resin comes into contact with the skin, it must be removed before hardening using a resin-removing cream followed by washing with soap and water. Do not use solvents, and do not expose to flames or other sources of ignition. No smoking is allowed.
Packaging & Storage:
- 20 kg/set (Part A: 16 kg, Part B: 4 kg).
- Store LeafSeal F310 in a covered area protected against sunlight and UV radiation.
Shelf Life:
12 months if kept in the proper storage area following instructions.
