Acqua Primer NP – Two-Component Water-Based Epoxy Primer

Acqua Primer NP is a two-component water-based epoxy primer designed for application on cementitious surfaces before applying Neoproof® Polyurea waterproofing systems. Classified as SR-B2,0 according to EN 13813, it comes in a set of 14kg (Component A) and 7kg (Component B) with a light grey color.

• Ideal for cementitious surfaces requiring Neoproof® Polyurea systems.
• Suitable for substrates like PU foam, mineral bitumen membranes, etc.

• Dry to Recoat/Overcoat (+25°C, RH 50%): 24 hours
• Full Hardening: ~7 days (affected by temperature and humidity)

Instructions for Use: Substrate Preparation:

• Surface must be stable, clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, and loose materials.
• Remove poorly adhering materials, older coatings, and clean the surface mechanically or chemically.

Application:

• Mix components A & B in the predetermined ratio, stir for 2-3 minutes, and add 25-30% w/w water.
• Apply one layer by roller, brush, or airless spray. Additional layers may be required for increased substrate porosity.

Special Notes:

• Avoid application under wet conditions or if wet conditions are expected during application or curing.
• Application conditions: substrate moisture <6%, relative air humidity (RH) <70%, application temperature +12°C min. / +35°C max.

Storage Stability:

• 2 years if kept in the original sealed packaging, protected from frost, humidity, and solar radiation.

Cleaning of Tools:

• Clean with water immediately after application. For hardened stains, use mechanical means.

Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.):

• V.O.C. content of the ready-to-use product is <140g/l, complying with EU Directive 2004/42/CE.
